Here are some pics of my Christmas glamour cakes. They were on order from a cousin of mine and turned out great! They are devils food cake filled with raspberry dark chocolate gnash, and raspberry butter cream frosting. SO GLAMOROUSLY DELICIOUS!!

Tis the season to be ...um shopping?

Hello all! So I've been utterly uninspired and unmotivated to post anything on here in what over a month?!?! I know I know awful! BUT the other day while visiting my lovely boyfriends face book page I stumbled upon a little link that I found funny, cute, and very inspiring. Standing on god awful lines at the ugh dare I say it "MALL" with ppl who are so grumpy they might be related to Scroodge himself, pushing our way through the crowds and just grabbing anything with as little meaning as possible (which is most likely be returned) . I mean I love to shop but how is this pleasurable?  We should be enjoying the time spent with friends and family. Celebrating with food and music and yes a little liqueur never hurt anyone...well yes it has but you get the point. I say this Christmas we celebrate giving by giving a little from inside of us. And I know this is a blog about glamour but cant giving from the heart with a little creativity be glamorous?? Yes it can! And since i am the queen of glamour (on this blog at least) what I say goes...SO here are a few ideas to get your juices flowing and make you just a teeny bit wet with excitement....1. Make a personalized calender - this can be easy to do if your pretty good with a computer. All you need is a cad program (there are TONS that will work, photoshop, illustrator ect) and just personalize it with pictures of the giftee and gifter, or 12 of your favorite quotes one for each month...get creative I'm sure you'll think of something.2. Home made candles - these may seem harder to make than they actually are and there are a ton of tutorials on line about it and the supplies are pretty inexpensive. Plus you can create colors and scents all your own with some oils and crayons. Glamorize it by tieing a pretty ribbon around it.3. Cupcakes  - For those of you that are glamorously savvy in the kitchen this can make a great gift! They even sell boxes for single cupcakes that you can decorate to your liking. For an extra glamorous touch give your special flavor a sexy and sweet name that goes with the giftees name like "Riss's Raspberry Rapture"  and type it up in a cute font and paste it on the box, if cupcakes aren't your thing how about cookies??4. Home made soaps - So this I really know nothing about but if you do, they would make a GREAT gift! A very glamorous friend of mine Annie made me a soap with oatmeal and lavender once and it was the best! It exfoliated and smelled amazing. Plus the idea of using something that was home made and is all natural on your skin is pretty damn glamorous! you can check out her blog at www.allnaturalannie.com she has some great all natural posts!5. A book of recipes  - So if your a cook or a baker spread the wealth! I know there's someone who is always saying to you "omg this is the best thing i have ever had please give me the recipe" chances are you forget and they never ask again thinking your a greedy little wench who thinks their all mighty recipes cant be spread among the commoners. Well prove em wrong and give them a real glamorous treat this holiday!! Give them 12 recipes one for every month! OH and what a great calender that would make! (see its osmosis)6. Home made cards - these are great, if you keep em personal they are things to be treasured.  Write little poems, or inspiring quotes. If you can sketch what better way to express yourself! My friend Nicole is an amazing artist both with the computer and with her hands and she sent me a card recently asking me to be her maid of honor with a little personalized poem and a little drawing of her and all the other glamorous ladies in the wedding! It was so cute!! Since its the holidays of course the whole maid of honor thing wont work point is just be creative and get personal!7. Scrap books - Last valentines day I made a whole scrap book of pictures of my boyfriend and I, I used my fancy photoshop skills and made each picture look like an old beat up Polaroid. I even made them have hand written love notes on the bottoms of the  pictures, complete with coffee stain rings, and lipstick kiss marks. It was very cute in the end and its something to show the grandkids....I just hope he hasn't tossed it yet ;)Ok that's about all I have for now! Get creative and have fun!  If I can think of any more great personalized creative gifts I will keep you posted (no pun intended...ok yes it was intended :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOVEMBER BABIES!!!

Happy Birthday to my fellow Scorpios! To to left is a picture of the most glamorous birthday cake I've ever seen! Its unreal! Anyway, November truly is the best month of the year (OK so I'm a little bias.) But Seriously we are some very loyal, sexy and passionate people. So for your birthday do something extra glamorous for yourself, Get manis and pedis all month..and try a facial and a full body massage, oh and definitely buy yourself something extra Glamorous like a new designer bag or a fantastic pair of designer shoes, or sexy lingerie, something you just know no one else would ever buy you. Actually I recommend this for everyone during their birthday month. I have said a few times to friends and family I think during birthday months we should be exempt from paying all bills....shouldn't we just get one month free, no rent, no credit cards, no car payments?? It's really such a burden and birthday months should be filled with happy things!! Unfortunately this probably wont ever happen so just try and be extra good to yourself this month drink wine, dress unforgivably glamorous and eat lots of cake!! Happy Halloween...Lets have a drink!!!!

Its Halloween and this year its actually not too cold, so to celebrate the teeny tiny sexy costumes all you Glamorous ladies are inevitably wearing lets have some drinks!!!I have yet to try any of these but i will by the end of the weekend.The Trick or Tini...1 part coconut cream1 part tangerine flavored mixer (suggested, Stirrings Tangerini)1 part banana liqueurSplash of white rumThis one takes a skilled hand. Chill ingredients in fridge or freezer. Once cooled, pour the first three ingredients, in the order listed above, slowly over the back side of a spoon into a martini glass (careful not to mix up the ingredients). Top with a splash of white rum.Glamorous tip: This drink is useless if the martini glass is not clear (lets use our heads ladies...)The Black Cat Cosmo

2 oz. Blavod Black Vodka1/2 oz.Chambord

Combine in a shaker with a cup of ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Glamorous tip: The Black color is all you need to make this a specially spooky but Glamorous drink.

The Pumpkin Pie Martini__

1oz Vanilla Vodka1oz pumpkin liqueur1/2oz Bailey's Irish CreamSplash of butterscotch Schnapps

Shake, then pour and sprinkle with 1/4tsp of pumpkin pie spice

if you Don't have all the extra goodies just try..                                    3 parts ABSOLUT® 100½ Pumpkin Spice Liqueur (Suggested: Hiram Walker )Splash Simple SyrupCombine all ingredients over ice and shake. Strain in to martini glass.

Glamorous tip: Garnish with a crushed graham cracker rim and cinnimon stick.

These are a few of my favorite things.....

Hello world!!! This is my first post, so I thought for the big debut I'd let you in on a few of my most favorite glamorous things, enjoy......

1. SMASHBOX O-GLOSS

This gloss is amazing!! its super shiny and NEVER sticky (bc we all know how un-glamorous is is when your hair sticks to your lips and causes the spider web look that is def never in fashion) while keeping your lips sexy and slick is brightens them by naturally turning them a pinkish color with its Goji Berry-C (whatever that is) complex and Pomegranate. The color your lips turn is different on everyone mine is like a light cranberry while some are peachy. It's very scientific!

2. Ornate tea cups -

Why should anyone subject themselves to using a "mug" that says "worlds best fill in blank" ?? if your one who loves to host (like yours truly) you'll get yourself a set of some really chic tea cups. The one in the image is from Anthropologie and I have all 5 colors and while they are absolutely gorgeous they are seriously WAY too small for sipping anything. I wish I had known that before I ordered all 5, but anyway that's OK bc I'm a lover of thrift stores and I scored a few sets for less than $10 that are just as precious! I feel so special whenever I use them and so do my guests...it's OK if you mix and match sets too! That always makes it more glam!

3. Cupcakes  -
Anyone who knows me knows these are my obsession!! i LOVE LOVE LOVE cupcakes! But not just Any cupcake, glamorous in flavor cupcakes. I LOVE treating people to special tasty treats and it's usually a cupcake of some original flavor from cookies and cream, mudslides, SAMOAS (theses are the favs of many) and even Pina Colada (my personal fav) along with many other flavors, recipes may be posted later....if your lucky

4. Mirrored Furniture  - 
I'm obsessed with that whole Hollywood Glam look. Chandeliers and Dramatic Chais lounges, my entire apartment is adorned in this look. Mirrored furniture really takes this look to a whole other level. It just SCREAMS glamour. Most mirrored furniture is super expensive but I just had to have at least one piece so I bought this vanity from JC Penny (of all places!!) the price was so right at $300.00 esp since it was on sale! I use it as a writing desk and my Macbook (which is covered in pink Swarofski crystals of course) sits so perfectly on top!

5. Buttoned Vanity Chair -
OK so if your going to get the mirrored vanity you need the Glam chair too!!! how could I resist! I love that its pink. It adds such a girlie feminine touch!  Also from Jc Penny!
